In the Bible, the fivefold ministries are a divine gift to the Church, bestowed by God to equip and empower His people for effective ministry. These ministries, mentioned in Ephesians 4:11-12, consist of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Each role serves a unique purpose in the body of Christ, working together to bring unity, maturity, and growth. Just as a well-tuned orchestra requires the harmonious blending of various instruments, the Church thrives when these ministries are embraced and activated.
The apostles, sent ones, are visionary leaders who lay the foundation of faith and establish new churches. They carry the authority to break new ground, pioneer new territories, and release the Kingdom of God. The prophets, messengers of God, bring revelation and insight into the mind and heart of God. Their role is to edify, encourage, and comfort the Church by speaking forth the divine counsel and direction.
Evangelists, bearers of good news, have a burning passion to share the gospel and see souls saved. They have a unique ability to effectively communicate the message of salvation, compelling hearts to surrender to Jesus Christ. Pastors, shepherds of the flock, provide care, nurture, and guidance to the believers. They offer support, counsel, and protection, ensuring the spiritual well-being of the congregation.
There are thousand of testemonies from people of many different countries. Countries that do not receive the gospel very well.
Teachers, dispensers of knowledge and wisdom, impart understanding and insight into the Word of God. They equip believers with the necessary tools to live out their faith and defend the truth. Together, these five ministries form a strong and dynamic team, strengthening the body of Christ and enabling believers to fulfill their God-given destinies.

It was on TV Tupi, an extinct broadcaster, that the televangelist (Dr.Soares) began to use communication channels to talk about the love of God. In the program “The Awakening of Faith”, premiered on November 3, 1978, he made his first television broadcast.
